Sadie's mysterious death was entwined with the Vuul marching in Skygarde. The initial war started and Ivoria decided to team with the Vul'Adnian Magistrate and began to attack Mercadia. the Skygarde army was caught unaware by the initial invasion by the Vuul and was able to expel them from the city after many losses. the Vuul then began to expand into Incantum and regroup while lesser lords pushed Ivoria into war, as they angers the barbarians for too long and this power vacuum gave them their opportunity to attack. Mercadia and Palandis were on their heels after the death of Sadie.
