The Curse of Man

The most dominant force in Galfin comes in the form of a curse. Before Mankind spread across the plains of Gaul, it was inhabited by many other creatures who lived long, bountiful lives, untethered from such concepts as War or Sadness.    Their long lives gave them freedom from guilt and the sorrow of loss. Since the dawn of Man and their treachery against the progenitors of the plains, we, the half-folk, have been unfortunately tethered to their lifespans for our part in their petty wars. I think, however, I can get back what was stolen from us.    I heard of a place called Glas’Talag, a sort of … planar hostel to our world. Many come and go from it, and many get trapped, but amongst them lies a divine witch, said to lay robed in white and red amongst a meadow of Wolves who has the power to bring us back what we desire. There is a price to every bargain, but I think I can untether our curse with a blade sharp enough to slice the heavens.
