Shade

Shades are ghostly creatures that are said to dwell in the shadows of the world. They are said to be the spirits of the dead who have not yet moved on to the afterlife, or who have become trapped between the world of the living and the dead. Shades are often depicted as dark, ethereal beings that are difficult to see in the light. They are said to bring misfortune and are often associated with death and mourning. They are said to be able to manipulate the shadows, creating illusions and hiding in plain sight. Some cultures believe that the presence of a shade can be detected by a sudden drop in temperature, or by the feeling of unease that comes over people in their presence. Despite their reputation, some believe that shades can be helpful to the living, providing guidance or even protection to those who are lost or in need.
