Scarecrow Demon
A scarecrow was built and enchanted to greet anyone entering Pleasant Valley.
Scarecrow Demons are unsettling beings that take the form of sentient, animated scarecrows. They are often imbued with dark magic and are known to terrorize fields and scare off pests. They are surprisingly agile and quick, able to move with speed that belies their stitched-together form. Their ragged burlap bodies are lined with razor-sharp straw, making them dangerous in close combat. At night, they are known to come to life, roaming the countryside and spreading fear wherever they go. Some people believe that they are controlled by a malevolent force, while others believe that they are simply the result of magic gone wrong.
