Riverswords
4E, 220 - The Riversword Revolt
A group of disgruntled warriors known as the Riverswords rise up against the rule of the Eastking. Their rebellion threatens to destabilize Ivoria, but with strategic maneuvers and decisive action, the Windslayer's suppress the rebellion and maintain their control over the nation. The Riverswords had a ritual of embedding a swords into the slow river basin near Rageus. This was similar to a tombstone in their culture. They drive the blade down so that it is almost gone beneath the water and the hilt is all that remains. Eastking Hermen Windslayer slaughtered the whole faction and placed all their swords in the water. That river was named the Hilted Rill and the rusted swords are still there today.
