Reverie
Raven like creature who is a haunt of the Weave. Wake sleepers abruptly rom their dreams. Moth like eye patterns on wings. Attack strand farms
The Reveries, raven-like creatures with glossy feathers and jagged, serrated beaks, are the restless wildlings of the Weave. They gnaw at the strands of the dreamscape, their ceaseless pecking tearing at the silk-like fabric of Twilight’s realm. These enigmatic birds are agents of transition, their meddling in the dream-strands often responsible for pulling a sleeper back to the waking world in Galfin. Yet in their wild hunger, they are also dangerous, capable of tearing through the protective barriers that safeguard sanctuaries like Wakerest’s Deep Quiet shield.
Reveries swarm in chaotic flocks, their sharp cries reverberating like the tearing of cloth. Individually, they are small, quick, and fragile, but together they descend like a storm, overwhelming even the most well-guarded shelters. The shield of Deep Quiet, a shimmering wall of interwoven silk-like strands, is a testament to the power of cooperative magic, holding back the nightmares of the Weave. Yet it is not impervious. The Reveries, small enough to sneak through the gaps or sharp enough to shred at its edges, are a constant threat to those who dwell within Twilight's fragile havens.
