Oli Graybore, a burly highland dwarf with a penchant for trouble, grew up working the Graybore Quarry under the stern eye of his father, Torand, deep in the rugged Firefang Jags. With flame-red hair and a temper to match, Oli was as much a force of nature as the mountains that shaped his people. When the quarry ran dry, he left behind the quiet life and sought work across the Gaulan Plains, where his brawler instincts quickly earned him a reputation. Bar fights became his calling card, each one leaving him with new bruises and more stories. He carried the Graybore name proudly, etched into his skin in the form of an intricate tattoo—mountains and stone surrounding his arm—infused with wild magic by a mage’s essence ink, allowing him to channel unpredictable, chaotic powers whenever he threw himself into a fight.
After years of mercenary work, Oli took up a new job with his cousin Arlo at a struggling quarry near Black Barrow. Unseasonal rains and hardships soon forced the closure of that quarry, but Oli, always one to find excitement, quickly shifted his path to adventuring. He joined a ragtag band known as the Hooligans, a group of misfits who tackled dangerous dungeons and quests across the land. With the Hooligans, Oli's wild nature found purpose, battling dark forces like the mysterious Institute of the Clandestine Eye, even saving the cursed town of Raven's Crest.
But as the Hooligans disappeared into the shadows for a few years, the world around them changed. Arlo reopened the Graybore Quarry, and the sinister Vul’Adnian Magistrate rose in power across the Firefang Jags. The Institute's influence spread even into the heart of Skygarde. In a tragic turn, Oli and his crew failed to prevent the Vuul from orchestrating a massacre in Beowulfan Castle, wiping out Plainsqueen Sadie and the city’s merchant class. Fueled by a thirst for revenge, Oli and the Hooligans chased their enemies through a portal to an unknown part of the world, determined to stop their sinister machinations at any cost.
