Moringua the Thundering Maw
Moringua was once a colossal sea creature, a giant eel that ruled the ancient oceans before the waters receded, leaving him stranded in an unforgiving desert. As the sea disappeared, Moringua burrowed desperately into the earth, carving out what would become the Caves of Moringua in his final moments. His immense body, once sleek and powerful, turned to stone over the millennia, transforming into a sprawling cave system that bears the scars of his last desperate attempts to survive. Though long dead, Moringua’s essence still lingers, his bones and scales humming with the magical energy that has seeped into the rock. In death, as in life, Moringua remains a force of nature, his fossilized remains a silent guardian of the secrets buried deep within the earth.
