Once, she ruled the skies above the Westmarshes, a black titan wreathed in storm and shadow. Mithariax was a force of nature, her presence heralded by tempests and her wrath carried on the wind. She ruled the marshlands until the Bristleback dragon hunters orchestrated her end. She was fed the staked body of a necromancer, a final act that poisoned her. Now, her bones rest beneath the Boiling Brook in her lair, the Dengar Krand. The necromancer Quenith’Zir’s essence still poisoning the waters, his spirit twisting the skies into unrelenting storm using her power. Though her body has long since crumbled, her vengeance is not yet spent.
