A Stormblood of Hydri around 300 years before the FifthEra, Melei Hydrest embodied the serene, fluid nature of the island of Pacura. His relaxed demeanour belied the depth of his power, as he was a skilled wayfarer with an innate connection to the water magic that flowed through his homeland. His deep blue eyes and hair the colour of sunlight shimmered with the essence of the ocean, and he carried himself with the grace of one who had spent his life moving between the islands.
