Letter from Moasis to Triss
After hearing about the Gray mage conversing with a Timekeeper, Moasis took off to Skygarde to check into things.
“My dearest Tristane, I am sorry I lied to you. My true self is not something I get to be much anymore. My sentence to the Pit was for my crimes as a warlord in the early era of man, before the elves arrived to conquer. The fear I gripped this land with was overshadowed by history but a crime, no matter when it happened in history is not forgotten by those of the Pit. I have no words that are not thousands of apologies gifted to you. I am leaving before you wake, for these gray mages are of grave concern. I will return, I can hold that promise with truth, for whatever that is worth. I am investigating the current keyholder of the tavern I once owned, it is the oldest tavern in Skygarde. It has changed names many times over the centuries but if you need reach me, I will be staying at the Wooden Whistle in the Dunwich District of Skygarde. I hear my sister is about to arrive with an honorable guest.
With love, Grandpa Mo.
