Kabarskii
The Charmsand Desert is an inhospitable land, only a few lonely villages have set up barricades to block the infinite sandstorm. With the dangers living in the desert, no adventurer would ever think to traverse the Charmsand alone. Kabarskii is a sage living in his shanty hut. Not being a traditional sage, Kabarskii has no way of retrieving herbs and ingredients to brew potions. The desert sage can heal people just by being near them; unfortunetly for the travelers, the sage has darker motives. The life force given to heal the weary travellers is actually the life force of others Kabarskii has helped. The sage invites himself to travel with his prey, so he can heal them. While travelling the twisted sage keeps his victims alive just enough to function, as the adventurer becomes weak, Kabarskii reveals his true form; the sage is actually a murderous genie who must absorb others life force to survive. No one has escaped the Mad Genie's trap and he gains more power with each kill.
