House of Venonim
House Venonim is a renowned family of gryphon riders, known for their mastery of aerial combat and their bond with the majestic gryphons. They are esteemed for their courage, valour, and skill in warfare, and are often called upon to defend the realm from airborne enemies.
Led by the Lord Blagun Venonim, he is one of the best flyers amongst his people, second only to Narissa. Many of his advisors asked him to remain with the people escaping but his people are everyone in the Marsh, not just the people of Wildehail, Blagun took his Black Beak Gryphon and the remaining guards into the storm and they had not been heard from since. The Provincial Lord is bestowed his rank by the Westking Floki Boggan, ruler of these lands and heir to the Ennobled Blood of his ancestors. Floki remains in the Whetstone Keep in the capital of Retch, having expressed to his Lord Venonim that failure to secure his province would lead to a change in the ruling house. This only matters if the province still remains after this Monsoon is finished.
Sigil: The crest of House Venonim depicts a majestic yellow-green gryphon in flight, with its wings outstretched and its claws extended, symbolizing their prowess in aerial combat. The latest son of the Venonim family changed his sigil to a black gryphon on the yellow-green backdrop of his family, his mount is his father’s blackbeak gryphon.
