Halfling

The Halflings of Galfin are a playful and carefree folk, with a deep connection to the land they call home. Their origins are shrouded in mystery, some say they were transported from the fae realm of Glas’Talag to live their idyllic lives on the mortal plane. Divided into three main sub-races, the Halflings are united in their love of the simple life, and their dedication to the land. The Fleetfoot Halflings roam the countryside in search of small growth bounties, abandoning the land once it has been harvested and allowing nature to reclaim it before moving on. The Greentom Halflings are more sedentary, practicing subsistence farming and focusing on providing for their own communities. Finally, the Baldock Halflings are a migratory society, focused on pastoralism and raising livestock, with bartering and trading being an essential part of their way of life. With their warm hearts, love of good food and drink, and joy in the simple pleasures of life, the Halflings are a beloved part of Galfin.   Potentially came from Glas'Talag in an older era.
