Great Rebellion of Gaul

Great Rebellion of Gaul
The men and women who lead the charge against the oppressive Onyx elves were brought together for the first time when the Elf Overlords tasked a skilled set of humans to band together and defeat a new threat. Near the end of the 3rd Era, dragons rained from the heavens in waves as they attacked areas of oppression. These 6 heroes and their followers were sent in to kill the dragons which they were very successful at. One of the people assisting them was a man known as Dhara. Some of the dragons returned to their slumber within the ground once they realized what the 6 heroes were able to accomplish. There were even reports of some people worshipping these dragons as they freed them from their chains in their attacks. Almost like they knew who needed freedom.
The dragons were slain or retreated in a decade long crusade and the Onyx elves thought all was well as these humans returned to servitude. Little did the elves know that Dhara had grand plans for the 6 Dragon slayers.
Dhara convinced each human to rally together and defeat their overlords. He helped them craft legendary items to defeat the Onyx Elves. These 6 heroes became the Royal Houses of Galfin after the Great Rebellion.

They almost lost on the final battleground but the story goes that Dhara, their great unifier fell on the field of battle. When all seemed lost, a purple light plucked the common man into the heavens. The men of Galfin saw their friend ascend to the heavens and they rallied together for one last push. They won the day and a religion was slowly formed around Dhara.
Dhara was revered as the God of Liberation, but also became a monotheistic deity in the eyes of the Dharan Church.
