Foulrot - Rot and Dark Magic Character in Galfin | World Anvil

Foulrot - Rot and Dark Magic

God of War and Magic
Foulrot is a sinister and malevolent deity who presides over rot and dark magic. He appears as an obese but incredibly strong ogrekin with mottled green skin that seems to ooze a putrid stench. He is adorned in tattered robes made of swamp reeds, and his eyes glow a sickly yellow-green.
Foulrot carries a staff that doubles as a spiked mace, with a skull at its tip. The skull is decorated with strange, ancient runes and pours out verdant swamp gas from its eyes, which seems to corrode and decay anything it touches.
Foulrot's followers are often necromancers, swamp-dwellers, and other unsavory characters who practice dark magic and revel in decay and corruption. He is known to grant his followers dark powers, but they are often twisted and come with a heavy price. Those who worship Foulrot often live in fetid swamps, surrounded by decay and death. They believe that only by embracing the rot and darkness can they attain true power and enlightenment.
