Discus Salamander
This large, colorful salamander is native to the swampy lowlands of the Barrowlands. It has iridescent blue and green skin, and can glide through the air for short distances by flattening its body and "flying" like a discus. It leaps from higher points and used its weights tail to propel itself sideways in the way, the it tucks its talk and flattens its body to glide across the marshes. Although it takes a lot of energy to get this movement done, it can be less arduous then trucking through the muck. Certainly a strange sight for someone unexpecting of this creature.
