Large woman with glowing white skin and unnaturally large eyes. Wears a purple dress that resembles a galaxy. Her song is the only thing you can hear once you enter the void.

There is one known Mother Goddess who seems to have started it all, The Void Mother's dress is the Black Ocean that makes up the stars and space. Most gods are either children of hers, came into existance through ascension (Dhara) or are Minor Infernals or Celestials who have gained followings over the millenia (Merkayne is a risen demon).
Okay so void parents meet, they birth the Aeons who fight, creating and destroying new planes without a care.
Void daddy's one goal to to have everything become part of him, part of the Black.
The destruction caused by the fighting aeons was enough to give him sustanence for a long time but eventually the void daddy began paying attention to a small blip in the black ocean that he had never seen before. This plane had somehow been there the whole time without his notice, this was Galfin, and Danara had worked to keep it secret from her cosmic husband.
As the Aeons fought and the Ceaseless hunger ventured towards this little blip on the map, where mortals had been trying to live and untouched life can actually happen without things being wiped out every millenia because order and chaos were fighting.
Danara could not stop him. The nature of the ceaseless hunger is that he wants to take everything and this was no exception. Danara wanted this world, that had been here the whole time before her arrival to remain untouched by the Prime Aeons.
As she tried to stop her husband, she was wounded by him, and in her retreat she bled silver, glwoing blood across the plane of Nimbreach. This wound looked like it would be her end but Danara was pregnant with their 5th and final child, Siolus the aeon of equilibrium. As Siolus entered the world, they brought with them an engine of great power. A celestial ring that housed many suns, embedded like jewellry.
The sun you see from the mortal plane is actually this ring rotating around the 2d black ocean, with multiple "suns" placed like gems around a bracelet, slowly rotating around everything inside. This is why prophecies speak of multiple suns, they are speaking of a countdown to when the next jewel star is above Galfin.
Siolus was born not only to balance his siblings but to also keep his father out of Danara's world. For this creation engine and the light produced was enough to weaken the Black Ocean's malicious intentions while inside the ring.
Danara did not seek to meddle with the people of Galfin so she hid underneath the plane and created the Cosmic Breach to keep out any of her children from affecting this world. The Breach is guarded by 12 constellation-like protectors.
As much as she tried to not affect it, her silver blood rained down on the various planes and took forms shaped by the world they touched. This rain formed into one of the oldest species on each plane that still resided almost to this day.
The silver rain shone bright and became the first Lumis Elves. They lived on the various planes, working with the locals but being disconnected from their mother, they faded away over time, leaving only their whispers in their old homes (the sounds of Glas Talag inspired this).
Only on Galfin, where they were the closest to their hiding mother did they contintue for millenia on an uninhabited continient to the north. Little did these lumis elves know that the wound Danara had recieved was corrupted with the Black Ocean.
On Galfin, when the Lumis elves and men had finally interacted after many years, a single gaul struck down the god-like, invincible light elves with a black dagger. This killed the Lumis elf but they did not fall, their light left them as their skin turned grey. The first Onyx Elf was born, who would go on to kill almost all of his Lumis brothers, converting them to Onyx Elves and enslave the world of gaul.
These elves searched the world for the location of Danara and it took almost 1000 years to find it, at the top of the world, above the frozen wastes of Valhedge and Zoa lie a massive magical gate that lead to where Danara was resting, trying to regain her power while fighting the Black Ocean inside her wound.
The Onyx elves sought entry to the heart of Danara, but the door they found was unable to open while a single Lumis Elf remained, this was a shock to the Ceaseless Hunger as he had thought them all dead. This last Lumis Elf was Dhara, hr had worked as a smith creating weapons for the Gaul so one day they could revolt. After the dragon wars and during the revolt, in the final battle of the Liberation of Gaul, Dhara was struck down but instead of turning into an Onyx Elf and allowing the vault into Danara's heart to open, Danara used her regained power to ascend Dhara into godhood, keeping him alive as well as keeping her vault sealed from the Ceaseless Hunger's Onyx Elves.
The men and woman of Gaul then killed the remaining Onyx Elves near the north pole, bringing in a new world order of the Six Heroes of Gaul.
