Common Ant
The common ant is a hardworking and organized member of the insect kingdom. They can be found in nearly every environment on this world, from the scorching deserts to the dense forests. They live in colonies, with each ant having a specific role within the colony, such as foraging for food or caring for the young. They are fiercely territorial, and will fiercely defend their colony against any perceived threats. They are also known for their ability to lift and carry objects many times their own weight. They are often considered pests, but also play an important role in the ecosystem by breaking down dead plant and animal matter.
