Cicero’s Journals

On the black boat you can find a hidden trove of treasure under a piece of wood. The wooden box was marked with a water seal spell.
  Book 1
“Captain’s Log: 4E, 95th year. 16th Day of Glaciate It was a struggle to get here and the ship was damaged in the storms. I have sailed these waters before, I think the slumbering Keldrith felt her husband's death. The wind weeps while the rain rests. Alas this journey is completed, Aldrek is now home. My ship will share his resting place. The black beauty that was Dragonbane will now sit in this forgotten cave where no one will remember it’s triumphs. My crew is gone, finding their way through this cave and the great monster has been placed from whence it came before it could turn fully to stone. At least it locked away the leviathan before it moved on from this world. I must leave this place, unable to carry the gifts I was given. Onto Calua, I have been told a silver dragon is hiding within Odell.”

Captain's Log: 4E, 96th year. 8th Day of Aridheat The journey to Odell has been long and hot, but we finally arrived at the base of the sandstone mountain where the silver dragon was said to be hiding. We climbed for what felt like days, with the heat and lack of water taking its toll on the crew. But finally, we spotted the dragon's lair, nestled high up on the mountainside. It was a fierce battle, but we were able to defeat the dragon and claim its hoard as our own. The glint of silver and gold has never been so welcome to my eyes. We shall rest here for a day before heading back to the sea. As much as we relished in this monster’s defeat, the rumours were wrong in that this was a Mercurial Dragon, not a Silver one.”
“Captain's Log: 4E, 98th year. 22nd Day of Coolbreeze After returning to the sea, we set our sights on the island of Volandra, off the coast of Cav Koma. Rumors of a great red dragon living there had been circulating, and I was determined to face it. We arrived at the island and made our way towards the jungle mountain where the dragon was said to live. The journey was treacherous, with steep cliffs and dangerous wildlife at every turn. But finally, we arrived at the dragon's lair. The battle was intense, with flames and ash raining down upon us. But in the end, we emerged victorious. The hoard of the dragon was unlike any I had seen before, and it took us weeks to transport it all back to the ship. We shall be celebrated as heroes upon our return to Galfin.”
“Captain's Log: 4E, 101st year. 43rd Day of Firstfrost We set sail for the coast of Harfjörd, where the great sea serpent known as the Leviathan was rumored to dwell. The journey was smooth, with no major storms to speak of. We finally reached our destination and began our search for the creature. It wasn't long before we spotted its massive form breaching the water's surface. The battle was long and grueling, but we were finally able to subdue the beast. Its body was unlike anything I had ever seen before, and I knew the people of Harfjörd would benefit greatly from the resources it provided. We loaded up as much as we could carry and set sail once more, our journey home a successful one. I will be honet, I thought this beast would be larger than what we faced, they were a fearsome task, so maybe it's better the size was overexaggerated... unless that wasn't the leviathan of legend?”
