Belcoursian

The Belcoursian people of Rathven, Dharnton and Wexford, provinces of the Gaulan Plains. These people have their own cultures and history that was swept up in the expansion of the former nation of Erod Mercadia. Belcour and Mercadia had small squabbles and a few defining battles as their borders collided in the expansion of gaul in the 4th Era. Seeing the force of the Mercadian gold funding a massive army to the west and the battle scarred hunger of the Ivorian barbarians pushing from the east. The Queen of Belcour married into the royal class of Mercadia, surrendering her nation to protect her people from bloodshed. Mercadia expanded but the Queen ensured that a Beloursian would hold the title of Provincial Lord or Lady in the new provinces of Mercadia. Now Rathven, with it's hills and ports, Wexford, with it's mines, fields and dwarven alliances and Dharnton with the prestigious Castle DuPont and serene countryside all have become a part of the Belcoursian people, who have dispersed among the vohkin but still hold their own legacy within the lands that were once called Belcour.
