Athus and many other goblins we captured and placed in a camp when he was young. The young goblin watched other goblins get killed by Outsiders and he tried to help.
The Outsiders threw him into the mud and laughed at the runt trying to stand up for himself.
As the leader came over to slice Athus' neck, a raiding party from the High Guard saved the day as they sent the Outsiders running.
Athus watched a young Sir Barney carve through the ranks of raiders and almost single handedly save he goblin prisoners.
The young goblin has strived to be brave lke the knights of the High Guard ever since.
