Glatisant Long Range Air Defense - Gonsexport

If there was something to say about Weltkrian Air Defense, it would be supreme, nay, sumblime.

Modern War is a complicated affair. More or less resembling a army of hackers trying to force their way into a system, the proliferation of modern SIGINT and ELINT systems have made Air-Defense into a truly dangerous task.   Designed to keep pace with emerging threats, the Glatisant AD System provides a modern, survivable and reliable air-defense system. Named after a great titan in Weltkrian Legend, the Glatisant AD system is designed to survive western style SEAD campaigns - and come out on top.   With a full suite of datalinks and an ability to operate in tandem with the Gruppa Battle Management System, the Glatisant is designed to operate in tandem with friendly air assets and AD to create a single, networked and integrated AD system.

Countering Electronic Warfare

In the modern age, Emissions control is critical to ensuring survivability of SAM sites. Due to this, the search and targeting radars have the ability to rapidly pulse while moving - throwing off incoming SEAD missiles, or stop emitting at the click of a button. A more kinetic approach is also included - four SHORAD units provide plently of capability to shoot down incoming missiles.   All radars included in the Glatisant SAM system have the capability to frequency hop, allowing them to defeat enemy single-frequency jamming with ease. All missiles also possess the capability to home in on active RADAR or EW emmisions, allowing them to ignore enemy jamming.   Every component of the SAM system is mounted on a fast and mobile chassis, allowing uninstallation of the unit within minutes. The Glatisant is designed for one thing - survivability.

Capabilities

Despite the survivable nature of the Glatisant, it is still a highly capable SAM system. The system has a range of 450km, with specialized warheads targeting fast and nimble fighters or slumbering bombers. The system can also be pressed into ABM duty, with specially designed missiles capable of shooting down incoming ICBMS. However, this mode is less effective then a dedicated ABM system.   Carrying the capability to network with other assets, the Glatisant is designed to be the cornerstone of a greater AD system. AWACS aircraft, other SAM sites and EW radars can be networked and linked to the Gruppa BMS, allowing for a truly networked AD system.

Ordering

A standard battery consists of 8 LRSAMs and 2 SRSAMs, along with a Search and Targeting radar. The system can be combined with the Lighting Air Defense System.   You may order 400 missiles of any non-export controlled type with the standard package. You may also modify the amount of launchers and radars you wish to order - please specify this on the storefront.   This is a Weltkrian system licensed by Gonsexport. Total cost of a full battery is 1.2B NSD.   https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=517886
