Freedom class Gunship

Power Generation

Holy ****, the fusion reactor actually works.
— TSgt. Maskria
The first ship to carry a fusion reactor would be the WPS Revolution. It had continual blackouts and technical issues, and in true Ardenian fashion, the second reactor carried on a ship would be the Freedom's 500MW Offunt Fusion Engine, except that said fusion reactor... actually worked.

Propulsion

Remember autocannons and conventional guns? Yeah, this thing made them obselete in space.
— TSgt. Maskria
Seven fusion engines, the first of their kind, were installed. Tempratures made installation almost impossible, with heat-signatures of the ships exceeding 12800 yottawatts, making electronic decoys almost impossible - except if one cut their engines before utilizing decoys. The combined fusion engines allowed for a blistering 10gees of acceleration, all fueled by a deuterium-deuterium reaction in the heart of the engine itself - this ship could accelerate so fast that more conventional autocannons and guns would be able to be easily intercepted by a simple weave.

Weapons & Armament

Our simulation actually lagged when we tested out the PRS series of dustguns - imagine the shock when they actually did better than the damn simulation.
— Captain Edelhover

Armor and defense

Boron. Enough Boron and carbon-carbon, along with aerogel, to take a hit from a tank and survive.
— TSgt Maskria

Communication Tools & Systems

The Outer Belt Conflicts allowed Freedom to really demonstrate the sheer advantage that datalinking provided to the Ardenians - even if it was delayed by minutes on end.
