The Lumestreams

While the Saltsea encompasses nearly the entirety of Gahla's surface most of it is unfit for survival, little more than a big wet salty desert. The ocean is simply too deep for plant life or coral to anchor itself within range of sunlight.
Only along a few migratory routes known to the beasts of the ocean, and the Mor'Rahan tribes that brave these waters, can sea travel be entertained. These routes are called the Lumestreams. Marked by long stretches bioluminescent seasprites, these glittering roads only appear where the ocean is pure and free of toxic ash.
