Festival of Inspired Beauty

During the Summer season, a week long festival is held in the city of Omynhil. This festival was created by the priest of Sune and Gond as a way to bring the people together and to inspire joy and creativity in a dark and depressing time. During the festival people from all over Galara come together to worship Sune and Gond by the selling, presenting, and preforming of their own works of art and invention.

History

The Festival of Insprired Beatuy began as a small event, hosted by the Temple of Passion and Temple of Wonder, to lift the spirits of those effected by the Abandonement. The hope was that the festival would inspire joy and wonder in a otherwise depressing time, by bringing people together to enjoy the beauty in creation. Since it first began, the festival has grown to a week long celebration that requires much of the city to be shut down to house all of the venders, preformers, and inventors that wish to share their projects.

Components and tools

While no one is expected to bring anything to the festival many creatures will bring small items to sell or hand out, while other will set up whole shops or viewing platforms. Those who come to the festival are often gifted a variety of Artisan's Tools from both temple's involved in making the festival happen.

Participants

Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend the festival, show their work or participate in the games. Even the King and Queen of Dremith will make an appearance near the end of the festival to announce the of the most inspired persons of the festival.

Observance

The festival takes place during the week of Daoine Sehan in the summer months. This particular week was chosen so the migration of the stars could inspire those who had gathered together.
