Felaurak
An Ancient Leader
It is unknown exactly how old Felaurak is, but it is generally believed that he has been alive since before the Vanishing. Since dragons experience indefinite growth, Felaurak is massive - about the size of a small castle. The average medium humanoid, when standing next to Felaurak, only barely clears the top of his massive claws.
Felaurak has been patriarch of the Napux brood of lion dragons for centuries. The entire brood is several generations of Felaurak's descendants. These dragons typically leave the main den when they reach young adulthood, searching for a new place to live or for a mate. Those that return with mates raise their offspring in the Napux den.
The Stalker of Evil
Felaurak seems to have a vendetta against monsters of all kinds. In his travels, he will go out of his way to stamp out any evil that he encounters, whether a single goblin in the trees or a horde of orcs raiding a village. No one is sure exactly why Felaurak does this, but some theorize it may be an adherence to a strict moral code or a form of revenge for an unknown wrong.
Felaurak also has no cares for the world of humanoids or their problems. In his interactions with these folk, it seems that Felaurak finds their problems to be petty and childish. Felaurak would much rather care for his brood or enlarge his collection than concern himself with the squabbles of what he calls "the small folk." However, Felaurak seems fascinated with ancient relics and artifacts, no matter their origin. Some organizations like the Masked Circle or the Order of the Jackdaw have made attempts to barter with Felaurak for information or items which they find important. Felaurak's views of humanoids make negotiations difficult, but one can always rely on an interesting artifact to catch the lion dragon's attention and perhaps gain leverage in such deals.
