The olympians after defeating the The Titans quickly became a important religion in Mytaneia and beyond.
The Olympians were a help to the people of Mytaneia. They made them prosper and showed them the world. This resulted in great societies but it eventually also resulted in decadence and a lazy sense of entitlement after hundreds of years of succeeding. This caused the Olympians to pull back their direct help.
