Mytaneia
Mytaneia is the name that is generally used for the eastern tip of Aedinia from Mount Olympus and everything south of it.
The land is mainly inspired by Greece and a little bit by italy, spain, southern france and the balkans.
Geography
The area has a lot of rocky terrain and fast relief differences.
Ecosystem
Generally the land had warm dry summers and wet mild winters.
Fauna & Flora
native flora and fauna is like that around the mediteranean and particularly greece.
for magical creatures: the area has creatures that in this world would be from the greek myths, so think of things like the gryphin, hippogryph and pegasus. There is also a somewhat strong fey presence because there are some places that the fey claim as their territory even though it isn’t the feywild, creatures like nymphs are found because of that. though rare full dragons and giants can be found too often working on some scheme. There is also a presence of some species of drakes like wyverns.
For fauna there is a special herb that only grows under specific conditions that only occur on a couple spots in the north-easter areas of greece. The plant is worth a lot and as a result highly sought after.
Natural Resources
Mytaneia doesn’t have too many natural resources, a lot of it’s land isn’t arable so while there is enough it isn’t extremely much, there aren’t too many precious stones or useful metals in the ground either. There are some forests in some areas. The most useful that they have is marble which can be used as a natural resource.
