The child 8: Raise a child, start a war

General Summary

The party spent their years raising the young Ourus. In their area with the runes close to the city of Aníkitos. The party spent a total of 8 years there during this session. During those 8 years, the party expanded their house, built a forge at the house and lived their days peacefully teaching Ourus in various different subjects. Ourus learned how to use the spear and shield and the shortbow, he learned how to speak, read and write and got taught a variety of knowledge about magic. Beside that he was taught the importance of a calm mind and wisdom through meditation. Ourus also Gained magical abilities he unlocked over the yerars by the awakening of his souls (see Gods) The powers ourus gained were the forming of lightning elementals, lightning bolts and a physical enhancement. During the years the party met a Naiad called Metis. The girl was only about a year older than ourus. She was on a search for the people that had taken a child from the gods in the hopes that the cove that metis was from could ally with the god and use it to fight back against the gods that had hurt them, the party after talking it over a bit decided to go with Metis and meet her mother who was the leader of the cove. The mother wants to take the gods down for destroying their old cove forcing them to move to the new one where there is barely any natural magic. The mother also had contact with Rhea through a speaking stone. The party brought ourus to the cove every now and then to speak with his mother. the party also learned this way that ourus his older siblings are still alive somewhere. Tenes learned that Politheon had been hit by Drought after drought that had caused the harvests to fail and that had put mainly the west of Mytaneia in complete disarray, the east wasn't hit as bad. Tenes decided to at least temporarily relocate the Machfiri to Aníkitos. When Ourus was 12 winters old (nearly 13) The party had agreed to have him talk to Hekabe the Queen of Polythe. Ourus talked with Hekabe but it isn't know about what. During the talk Izzu showed up again in the middle of the queens castle, to tell the party that things were moving that the stars had shown him that. The party was also asked to talk to Hekabe, because of a accidental failure on Hekabe's party she was forced to reveal that she had allied with a massive mimic colony that she uses as a weapon. The mimics got skilled enough to with teamwork perfectly mimic the visage of hekabe herself, causing hekabe to be able to effectivly use clones. Hekabe seeks to start a war with chronos and wants to use the party as step 1, by instigating a fight with chronos to have him open up a portal to his personal demiplane that chronos mainly uses as storage, The party would then go in and take everything inside the demiplane out to remove a lot of chronos his recourses. The party guesses that ourus's siblings are probably there too. The party agrees and first gets worked on setting up a meeting between the fey they met and Hekabe to see if they can work together, that's where the session ended.
