Heretics resistance 7: Mission patience

General Summary

the session starts with the group still over the days looking on the docks. they realize their plan doesn't have a way to figure out when the ship arrives before the witchhunters find out.
They choose to instead impersonate the witchhunters earlier to get information.
The party takes the clothes of some witchhunters by magic, impersonation and assassination. The bodies they dump into the bay. They then impersonate the watch untill the boat arrives on midday of the same day. Soon before another witchhunter arrives to relief of watch, which they relieve Killian, That other witchhunter goes to send word to the witchhunters. The party manages to convince the witchhunter escort on the boat that the party is sent to bring Patience to the stronghold as a small group to avoid attention. They buy it but the captain of the witchhunters there does join Patience just in case. The witchhunter does get suspicious as the party starts to take them and patience to their home. Only however fully realizing when its too late and they're inside the house. There they fight. The party manages to win the fight through Benj discovering new magic that made him grow fangs, Orion supporting Benj with healing and Killian putting the Witchhunter to sleep towards the end of the fight (killian hit himself too by accident). During this fight the party also discovered that the magic of Patience is quite literally tied to their patience. Their blasts of energy and shields get stronger the more patient they are in the eyes of adversity. After the witchhunter fell asleep and was restrained Patience, whose real name turns out to be Samit, was willing to simply talk. While he is certainly pious he also clearly was raised in isolation and didn't know about the world, when hearing about the atrocities of the witchhunters he seems unsure. As Sir trevor and backup arrives (which the party sent for) the party rests for the day, promising to let Patience go and see the city and the witchhunters atrocities for himself once the witchhunters have calmed a bit in looking for him (since they noticed he's gone by now).
That's where the session ended with Sir trevor and guards in the same house to guard Patience.
