The Ethain's are 1 of The 5 families of Bersail, which rule the city.
Like all the 5 familes, the Ethains are a powerfull merchant family, owning a lot in and outside of Bersail and making their money through trade.
The Ethains's are a long pagan family worshipping fey spirits and the Tuatha. Primarily among their worship is an ancient fey called Mathrell. Mathrell is a fey tree that sits right on the outskirts of Bersail, in secret. Ethain members and a couple other pagan families have been the protectors of this ancient fey in secret for 100's of years.
At the time of the
Heretics resistance campaign, the political head of the family is Dagnia Ethain.
