Fishmongers
The Fishmongers are 1 of the 3 major gangs of Bersail around the time of the
Smugglers of magic campaign. They had been one of the major gangs for a good 50 years.
Unlike most of the gangs in Bersail, the fishmongers did not actually start in the city, rather they started along Porondar's coast, in various small fishing villages as a means to organize the smuggling of goods through little fishing boats. As this orginization grew, they at some point "invaded" Bersail and took territory under their wing along the harbor to be able to run their operations easier, which then grew out into the Fishmongers controlling most of the docks in the city.
The Fishmongers are the smallest gang by territory, but thats mainly because a lot of their power is not in the city, rater its out in the sea. The gang mainly deals with smuggling things in and out of the city, anything illegal in Bersail they can get, ecpecially if it needs to come from overseas. They generally hold strong naval control as well.
They have a strong relation with The Leviathan Fleet, since the pirate gang is a good source for illegal trade, both for buying and selling.
The fishmongers use a tattoo of an anchor hook to identify their members.
Starting around the 630's AC the Fishmongers also have been recruiting plenty of Miovikan's seeking to escape their homeland, they are often raiders who choose to stay in the Stormrend peninsula but then get rejected by society there. The leader of the fishmongers around this time, Brodir is half Miovikan himself.
