Kiara

Kiara: Potential Stories & Narrative Techniques Kiara is a pacifist by heart, but throughout her life became willing to fight in self defense. However, she still refused to kill. A potential character development & arc for her could be a moment where she comes up against someone so bad & sickening that isn’t accountable to anyone for their actions (ex. a Sun Elf slave mine operator in Dalterra, who is also elf trafficking sex and/or child slaves) that she finally sees the truth about this world; sometimes, the only way to stop the bad guys in a lawless land is to stop them forever. With psychic images of all his victims flashing through her mind as she beats him with her escrimas, she finally breaks her code and kills him with transmuted spikes in one of her sticks. This moment would shake her to her core and cause insane character development, where she accepts that it’s ok to kill sometimes   She is a Warian Wood Elf from the Wilgrove Woods. Kiara is a devout Druid of Arcian Magic and the Warian Collective.   One of two possibilities:   1. Warian Collective marks Nezzarae as a rogue Warian because she learns the truth about their origins. As a fugitive, she runs into her daughter in Season 2 and psionically shows her the truth. Kiara must then make a choice: believe her mother and abandon the Collective, or distrust her message (master Warians can create false memories & visions to implant in their victims’ minds) and turn her over to the Collective. This information can be confirmed in Season 3, either by Daedrius or by her experiences in the Astral Fog   2. Warian Collective banished Nezzarae and separated Kiara from her mother due to Nezzarae having sired Kiara with a vampire. They claim they did this to cure Kiara of vampirism before it was too late, while Nezzarae claimed that she had always intended to do so herself. It was this conflict amongst all of the other cracks in the façade that finally pushed Ciara to leave the Warian collective   Season 3: The Underworld/Astral Fog in the first half, Nezzarae & Daedrius in the second. Specifically, Daedrius tries to tempt Kiara into coming back as an undead princess, a vampire under her father’s stead. Nezzarae may be involved in this plot, or is involved in bringing back Kiara through non-undead means. In other words, Nezzarae uses her magic to transfer Kiara’s soul into a mortal body or a new form. Perhaps doing so costs her own life as a price to the god of fate   Season 4: would most likely work on bringing peace to Gaion, until she is called to action by Dahli’s siege on Hytheria. Realizing that all the realms must be United to stop this threat, she would instruct Viko & Hana to ensure that the Demon Lords & Akana will be on their side. Meanwhile, she would head to the Underworld & do the same with Cyr & the Archdevils     Kiara’s Permian War Story (scrapped)   •successfully keeps her spirit conscious, but is immediately pursued by Denowraiths. She manages to escape them, but is now a fugitive of death and being steadily pursued by these spirits   •knowing that Denowraiths don’t actively patrol other auras for souls, Kiara heads to the Blauri Aura and seeks refuge with Hana and Korak, whose Arcian magicks can ward off the Denowraiths   •She trains with these Blauri in Arcian and Gaian magic, then leaves while fending off and destroying every Denowraith in her path   •Knowing that the last thing she saw was Thatos destroying the Pluronis Gaiostone, Kiara heads for the Pluronis Aura next and finds it under near complete corruption and control from the Blaidrin Aura. She communes with various Seregans and discovers that despite a small resistance, many of them have been killed or imprisoned by Daedrius and the Dark Elves for magical experimentation. She agrees to ensure the survival of the Seregans by helping them confront, but knows that she needs a physical body to do so if she doesn’t want interference from the Denowraiths   •She trains with the Seregans in the Pluronis aura before it is fully corrupted, then uses her Blauri and Pluronis powers to create a new body for herself. She successfully inhabits this body and cheats death, then joins the Seregans in their fight against Daedrius   •Empowered by the Waria, Blauri, and Pluronis auras, Kiara successfully kills Daedrius and frees all of his prisoners (Seregans, Warian Elves, Goultani, and non-Gaian victims). However, she realizes that to free the Pluronis Aura, she has to reform the Pluronis Gaiostone. She travels to the corrupted Pluronis Aura and by using all her powers: 1. Blaidrin (controlling the energy in the Gaioforce) 2. Blauri/Pluronis (transmuting the surrounding matter and controlled energy to form the Gaiostone) 3. Waria (pulling herself and the newly formed Gaiostone from the black hole-like force of the Blaidrin Aura)   •Kiara gives the Pluronis Gaiostone to the newly freed forces of Gaians and non-Gaians, while sealing the Blaidrin Gaiostone away in a Blauri orb. The freed people choose to liberate all their lands from Frost Elves and Rouzhai Orcs alike. Rather than join them, Kiara recognizes that her skills are now needed to defeat Thatos and Cyr, so she sets off to search for Viko and other Gaians that could help her.   •she finds Viko, but he’s fully corrupted by the Thugora and does not agree to help her fight Thatos (but as a token of love to the friend he thought he lost, he does not fight her nor does he warn Thatos of her survival). Instead, Kiara detects and tracks down Garen, who has been on his own Gaioforce journey. Since he also wants to kill Thatos, she strikes a deal with him: 1. She would help him forge his newly-recovered Rouzhai and the existing Goultani Hammer into a single weapon, as the hammer has become infused with so much Goultani energy from the Gaioforce that it can no longer be altered/reforged by any amount of heat Gaion could produce, nor can it easily be removed from the Gaioforce 2. In return, Garen would become an ally to Kiara and help her incapacitate Viko so that she can help purify his corrupted spirit   •the deal is struck, and Kiara uses her powers to temporarily protect Garen and take him to the hammer: 1. Blaidrin (controlling the energy in the Gaioforce and protecting her and Garen from its corrosive effects) 2. Blauri/Pluronis (manipulating the metal of the hammer and transmuting Gaioforce energy into the same metal) 3. Waria (possession of Garen and reading his mind to forge the hammer into his ideal weapon)   •Once Kiara drops her protective wards from Garen, he wields and resists the immense power of the Rouzhai Gaiostone long enough to force it into the weapon she was creating. As the Gaioforce reacts heavily to this, Garen and Kiara psychically and physically hold the weapon in place, causing immense strain on both that is mainly passed into Garen. Eventually, the Gaioforce peaks in an explosion that sends both Gaians crashing to the Sholai Mountains (same place the stone originally crashed during the Gaioforce Extinction) in a massive bolt of lighting.   •Garen emerges first, surging with Gaioforce power and wielding an orange-glowing axehammer, which radiated with Rouzhai Fire and Goultani energy while successfully containing both stones. Kiara emerges behind him, exhausted but pleased with the result. Not wanting the Blauri-sealed Blaidrin Gaiostone to fall back into Thatos or Cyr’s possession, she teleports to [merfolk kingdom] and hides the stone with Hana and Korak. Returning to Garen, the two set off to find Viko
