Two tribal confederacies begin to emerge in the Frosthalda, and each found cultural capitals of their own to solidify their dominance. Jormungrod in the west, and Erengorn in the east, the two factions are embroiled in a near constant state of intermittent warfare and skirmishes. The balance of power ebbs and flows, though neither side is able to overcome the other.
After a few generations of migratory wanderings and conflicts, two tribal confederacies emerge and eventually found two new cities of their own. Jormungrod rises beneath the cliffs of the Sifnir Mountains, and Erengorn emerges close to the cursed wastelands of the Shattered Plateau. These two cultures differ greatly, but both foster a fierce warrior culture. Each one develops a proud sea-faring tradition and launch their longships upon the waves to raid and pillage foreign lands. Jormungrod has distinctly richer pickings in the burgeoning kingdoms to the south, while Erengorn primarily launches assaults upon Blodhallen outposts and forays into the Callair. The rivalry between the two cities is extremely hostile, and open war between them is a near constant over the following years.
