Saving Throw: Dexterity - Partial, see text   All natural, uncut, or unworked rock in the area transmute into molten lava.
All creatures in the affected area must make a Dexterity saving throw.  
  • On a failed save, the creature takes 10d12 Fire damage.
    If a creature is somehow unable to escape the area on their next Turn, they automatically fail their save.
  • On a successful save, the creature takes 1d12 Fire damage, if they can somehow escape the area on their next Turn.
If a creature remains in the lava, they take 10d12 Fire damage at the end of their Turn.
If a creature enters the affected area, they take 10d12 Fire damage with no save.
Additionally, creatures in the affected area have their Speed reduced to 5, and are both Hindered and Vulnerable.   Once a creature leaves the area, they are considered Burning for 1d6 or 10d6 Fire damage, depending on their initial saving throw.
This lasts for 1d3 Rounds and cannot be extinguished by mundane means.   If this spell is used on the ceiling of a cave or tunnel, the lava falls and spreads out in a 20ft radius pool with a depth of 1ft.
Any creatures underneath must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 Fire damage and 1d6 Bludgeoning damage.
Additionally, any creature in this pool takes 1d12 Fire damage at the end of their Turn, if they remain in the lava.
Once the creature leaves the area, they are considered Burning for 1d6 Fire damage, as above.   If a stone structure stands on top of the transmuted rock, it takes 5d12 Fire damage each Round.
Wooden structure are instantly set ablaze.   The lava naturally cools and becomes harmless after a certain duration and depending on its shape, as follows:  
  • Surface of Cube - 2d6 Hours
  • Pool - 2 Days
  • Core of Cube - 1 Month
