High Priest
A west Calophesian religious rank, directly below an Ecclesian . Above a priest by virtue of having been chosen by their fellow priests to lead a temple.
A High Priest is of equivalent rank to an Archpriest (the head of a basilica) and a Grand Master (the head of a clerical order ).
The specific title given to a person of this rank can also depend on the denomination they belong to, although they are all commonly referred to as 'High Priest'.
High Priests are still considered to be priests of their respective deity, even if they do not directly care for a shrine.
