On the Hordes

Whenever I look to our west, I wonder how such people can live without any order. Here We serve our empress, in Taisoomi. There, they pillage and ravage whatever they can or feel like. I can not allow them to breach our wall and invade our Sacred lands. For such a military as ours, We should be the victors should the Khans decide to march against our Empress.   There was order there at one point, Then the Great War happened. The Isarian people, these poor beastmen thrown out by their own for differing views. How did they make it through such a lawless land? The Marru-Khan of course. They have overthrown their own king and reseated them as a Marru Khan. I fear for the lives of the people who live among those lands.   It is ever so more reason, why we must stand united as well. A United Dasuun Empire will indeed be a danger to us all. It will only be a matter of time before they march West, into the Chalandris Savannah, and eventually into the Kharis jungle. I fear that day, should we route them here in the East; The collision of two egos, one of might, and one of will. My the gods watch over us and see to it that this never happens!   ~Samurai Kenshi Setsugen ~The Thoughts of Life.
