The 10th
At the beginning of the universe, there was nothing. Until a spark ignited the empty world. Then ten powerful deities came into existence. They didn't know who or what they were. All they knew was that they were family. These deities just existed, not having any type of purpose. Some just pandered their existence, while others just floated in the void.
After an unspecified amount of time, the deities discovered their powers. Each one had control over an element. The elements are fire, water, earth, nature, air, lighting, light, darkness, space, and time. And before you ask, the classic elemental counters do come into play. But the 10th are all equal in power and strength. Sometimes classic elemental counters don't matter. Because of this, they formed the 10th and disciplined themselves.
After refining their talents, the 10th still carved a purpose. Instead of just existing, they wanted to create life. Because of this desire, the 10th made Earth and Gaia. Even though Earth and Gaia were reflections of one another, they are vastly different. Gaia is filled with magic and creatures of myths and legends. Earth made technological advances and studied and sciences. Ironically, if a mortal from either world decided to visit, they would consider it magic.
But something was missing from both worlds. Death wasn't a concept in either world. The 10th brought their powers together and formed a new deity. This deity was simply called the Eleventh Deity of Death. When he was created, he went berserk. Since he was made up of all the elements, he was able to match the 10th.
The battle that ensued destroyed almost all of Gaia. Aze, the deity of fire, made a chest called the God Seal. The 10th trapped the Eleventh Deity in the God Seal. But the God Seal was cracked. This was on purpose, however. They still wanted death to exist on both worlds, so the 10th hid the God seal away.
The 10th decided to go back into their dimension. Before they left, the 10th made ten crystals imbued with an element of each member. They scattered the crystals across Gaia to help heal the land. They promised one another to not mess with the lives of mortals anymore. But of course, not even gods keep their promises.
After two thousand years, the God Seal started to weaken. The Eleventh deity took up the name Necrox and was free. To prepare for Necrox's awakening, the 10th recruited ten mortals to fight the Eleventh Deity. They called the mortals vessels. Each Vessel is imbued from an element from the 10th. Now all the 10th can do is hope that the Vessels will be able to stop the Eleventh Deity of Death.
Structure
In the 10th, everyone is an equal. But some members tend to be more vocal than others. But, each member of the 10th govern over or have their role to do.
Public Agenda
The 10th strive to keep order and balance in the universe.
Assets
Besides the vessels, the 10th doesn't have any assets. They're powerful beings, the 10th doesn't see the need for any more help.
