Safnet

Regarded by some as a misnomer, "Safnet" refers to the radio frequencies that have not been completely taken over by Generated Logic and are still useable. This safety is primarily maintained by Ethernauts, telecomputer technicians specially trained to clean out the Ether. Seers, a kind of Synthetic specially qualified to swim the Ether, are especially adept at Ethernaut work, though only a minority of them pursue that career.
