Drughai Animism

An antidivinical spiritualist belief system, Drughai Animism differs from Sheshai spirituality in that it pays much stronger deference to the spirits, and especially in that it presupposes that all things, even machines, have spirits.
Drughai Animists will attempt to communicate with all things, granting a special emphasis to objects that do not seem to communicate back: "inscrutable spirits," they are called. This is especially true of rocks, which the Drugh are said to worship with a special fearfulness, as though stones might visit some ancient vengeance upon them if not properly appeased.
