Inherited Magics

There are many forms of magic that happen to be inherited and cant be replicated through simple study or other regular means. Sorcerers are the easiest and most frequent example of inherited magic, but in most circumstances the magic they are able to use is not unique and there birthright simply gives them the ability to cast spells with little effort. There are other forms of inherited magic that are also well known, documented, and observed.

Ocular Magic

Ocular magic is a rare form of inherited magic that only shows up in a select few families and they are almost always unique to the family itself and do not change from family member to family member. Even with its uniqueness in differing families, ocular magic has a few things that are common among all people possessing it. The use of the magic can make the users fairly tired quickly, and over use of the magic can even lead to damage to their eyes and leave them visually impaired or even blind.

Voice Magic

Magic that is in the voice is another rare form of inherited magic, with the most notable users being of the Konungur royal family. Voice magic can manifest in many forms and is easily confused with bardic magic, with cases even being present where notable bards had access to inherited Voice magic without ever knowing, simply thinking they were exclusively using bardic magic. In most forms Voice magic is incredibly taxing on the user and if overused can lead to death because how powerful Voice magic usually happens to be.

Ancestral Rune Magic

This Form of Rune magic can not be learned as it is in the blood of its users and enables them to exceed in the school of magic that their heritage is tied to. Most families how possesses any form of Ancestral Rune magic are unaware of it, as it is subtle and can skip generations making it even harder to track. This magic usually takes the form of magical runes 'Inscribed upon the soul' that enable the user to do some things that would be impossible for others, and can even be attributed to being a 'Key' to using some artifacts or spells. Though it can also present in a more recognized form of traditional Rune magic

Providence

Providence is the rarest form of inherited magic and only appears in linages that have a Major God far in the past, as the effects take millennia to ever present in an individual. Because of this it is unknown exactly what effects that they can actually have on any one individual. the only, unconfirmed, people to possesses Providence were Vallumand the Adamantine adventurer Aretha
