Personal history

Ah'gos had lived most of existence on the back foot, trying his best to gain power and cling to it, while at first he was a common demon, he had tried to go to The Endless Maze to collect an artifact and become a ringed demon, but was instead captured and used for experiments before being turned into a Yugoloth demon and set free. After that he left Hell entirely and started working in different planes to make money and possibly get ahold of an artifact. While on a job to serve as part of an assault force to attack an ifrit's home in the Plane of Fire, he had found rare artifact and tried to take it for himself and was caught. In the ensuing conflict the artifact was destroyed and he was detained. In exchange for continuing to live, Ah'gos worked out a deal with the ifrit to work for him and cover the debt of the artifact instead, which the ifrit begrudgingly agreed to. Ah'gos worked like this for centuries and was treated as nothing more than another cog that had no meaning, up until he was given a job to work alongside Kennen and assault a home in the material plane. When he got there he was instructed, along with some other Arcanoloths, to steal from or destroy the library in the home, while constantly annoyed to be taking orders, he found some comfort in the fires he caused. As they were finishing their job, Kel-Dai entered the library and was immediately enraged at what had happened, while the other Arcanloths escaped, Ah'gos had not. He had been subdued by Kel and in annoyance he had used one of the few remaining scrolls left to cast a Reduce Person on Ah'gos with Permanency. After that Ah'gos pleaded for his life, and even offered his services to Kel, though when he didn't agree at first, Ah'gos reluctantly gave Kel his true name to prove he wouldn't be a threat.       Afterwards Ah'gos had accompanied Kel-Dai on many adventures, even saving his life a few times. Though Ah'gos had felt dejected at being treated as less than a person at most times, even if unintentionally. While his personality can be, abrasive, at times he tried his best to show his willingness at actually help and be more substantial part of Kel's life, even giving away the Ifrit that had originally hired him to attack the Gilven manor in the first place and helping Kel to infiltrate the home and set Kennen's soul free. But when even after that, he still wasn't acknowledged at all and was still regulated to 'that demon', he gave up trying, thinking that while it was no longer as harsh as working for the ifrit, it wasn't that different in the first place except, he no longer even had the option of escape because of giving up his true name.   It wasn't until rather recently that anything began to change, when Na'lynbegan to talk to him, and he felt that he had an actual friendship with someone, and then she had courted him aswell, while albeit oblivious to the advances at first, he eventually noticed them and accepted gratefully. After which Na'lyn had expressed to him her desire for a family, just as an admission, to which he immediately replied to with solutions to that and offered his help in any way. After making some deals, and using some collected favors, he helped Na'lyn become a demon and is starting a family with her, finally feeling some level of comfort with his life that has always eluded him.

Employment

Ah'gos had worked as a mercenary for centuries accumulating knowledge and experience across many planes

Accomplishments & Achievements

He feels good about being able to help Na'lyn start a family and finally feeling like being part of one himself

Mental Trauma

after spending most of his existence serving people he did not like at all, he had hoped things might be different serving under a mortal, but when that proved untrue, he grew more and more bitter at his situation before finally just being depressed that he would never have anything more than what he did, while it is beginning to change thanks to Na'lyn, he still feels that the Gilven will never truly accept him and hell continue to be treated as nothing more than just another demon   While he already felt physically smaller after having his size reduced for quite a while, he was then completely dejected when Kel started to simply share his true name with his family and one of his dreams in life to attain enough power to do as he pleased was quickly and quietly crushed. feeling completely hopeless about his situation after that, he simply accepted much of the treatment he was given, even beginning to think of himself as nothing more than a 'pet' since then. He attempted to get some control back in his life by awakening random things and watching them grow, but even that was taken away from him. While his situation has substantially improved, he still he holds a small bit of resentment for the careless sharing of his name, not only because of what it has done to him, but because he know that he now wont ever be strong enough to truly defend Na'lyn or his future family   Spending most of his time in serive to others, he has grown used to simply taking orders and with the new freedom he has been given recently, he he is unsure how to even use it, especially since he has been confined to the Gilven Manor for more than a year now, and has yet to actually leave the property of his own volition or for himself

Intellectual Characteristics

While a bit 'wild' he still holds the encyclopedic knowledge that most Arcanoloths have

Morality & Philosophy

while he doesn't seem to want to hurt people for the sake of doing so, he has expressed many times his enjoyment of torture and his acceptance of slavery, though the second may only be because of his own situation and his acceptance of it, even if its not the same   but outside those things, he doesn't seem to have much of a moral compass at all, and is more than fine with doing anything he is told to. Though he doesn't actively seek to do heinous things

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

He had once hoped to have enough power to no longer be under the thumb of anyone else, though that is now impossible for him   He wants to do what he can keep Na'lyn happy

Likes & Dislikes

He has a fascination with fire, likely due to his centuries within the Plane of Fire   he is very unhappy with being referred to as a dog, though exhibits many 'dog-like' traits even strongly disliking other Arcanoloths that come into 'his' territory

Social

Social Aptitude

he is terrible at picking up any social cues, and is usually too abrasive to interact with most people, seemingly always on the defensive because how he has lived his life, and is even, usually, unwilling to show positive feelings, seeing that as something that just be used to exploit him later
