Lord of Hate and Despair

Lucifer, also referred to as The Morning Star, The Lightbringer, the King of Hell, the Lord of Hate and Despair, the Prime Evil, or more commonly, as Satan or The Devil, is a Dark Archangel who was once a member of the Seraph Council and one of the most powerful and loyal angel of Cylene.
During the God Wars, Lucifer became disillusioned with their god and rebelled against Her and their fellow angels. They sought to gain power of their own by consuming the souls of mortals and eventually defeat the Celestials and take their place. It is their rebellion that initiated the chain of events leading to The Fall and, thus, the birth of modern-day humans.
Hunted by their brethren, Lucifer took refuge within the realms of Tor'Aethel and eventually became known as the de facto ruler of all Seven Hells.
