The army of Pelliny marshaled south, advancing into Atheran lands and laying siege to Cal-Corvec. The First Marshal rose to the challenge, rallying the armies of the scattered city-states into a unified army and advanced to relieve Cal-Corvec. The war was decided in the plains surrounding Corvec, with many battles fought before the siege was finally lifted and a treaty signed.
