Badger Mine

Badger Mine is a metallic mine near volcanic Mount Ridder rich in copper, gold, silver, lead, and zinc.

History

Established in 1714. Miners made contact with the subterranean city of New Thostenburg in 1728, a city dug into the earth under Thostenburg after the last eruption of Mount Ridder in 1428, which buried the old metropolis under pyroclastic breccia.
