The Temple of Marduk
The Temple of Marduck was built by subscription from the people of after their Independence from the Kyrilian Empire, during the The Kyrilian Civil War 1183 -1214 IME. It was placed in the Northern Triarch area, near Tont, in recognition of founding father and first Triarch, Sir Lysander Tont the last Dragon Knight. (see Order of the Dragon Knight
Dedicated to the patron diety of Balon, Bahamut, The Temple of Marduk houses many relics, including a large, cyan hued crystal called The Crystal of Divination. Believed to give forsight and a channel to the divine.
Ran by a Deacon*, appointed by the Triarchs, and served by Monks, the temple is a place of worship, learning, and remembrance.
*The Deaconship is currently under reappointment after the sacrifice of Deacon Kaelin during a tragic incident within the temple's main sanctum which resulted in the death of the Deacon and Sir Soldin Solitaire - KIA A dramatised version of event has be submitted to the Senior Archivist under the title The Fall of Soldin Solitaire 14/07/1495 IME
