The Silver Horn of Halfdan

Once the war horn of berserker Halfdan, son of Fulldan. This item is powerful, if a somewhat temperamental, weapon of war.   Draken, Dragonborn Barbarian, took it as a trophy after decapitating Halfdan in single combat. Having no idea of its power, or even of its use, he proceeded to pour meed into it; only to realise that it leaked out the other end. Cursing at this oversight and being laughed at by his companions, Draken washed out the mead and blew it to remove the excess water.   A loud AROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO filled the room, the candles flickered and out of nowhere, 6 spectral berserkers surrounded the perplexed Dragonborn, who started looking in both ends.
Barbarian, I am Halfdan, son of Fuldan, you have bested me in combat and with this oath I do swear that I, and all those I have bested before me, will serve you in combat as long as you are strong and as long as your thread remains uncut.

How to use

  • 1 use every 7 days
  • Roll a D4

  • On another 1 D4+2 berserkers appear but attack the bearer .. your weakness is showing and they only follow strength!
  • On a 2-4 D4 + 2 berserkers appear and will fight as you command them. They disappear when killed or when the combat ends.
