Tribe Isle's
A collection of 2 smaller and 1 larger island far off the eastern coast of Palladia. The larger one is named Nui, The northern island is named Te Raki Iti and the southern one is called Iti Tonga.
It is home to The Lizardfolk and Tortle’s and although their societies on the island are mostly separate, they share the island peacefully. The reason why however mostly lies in the fact that each race is relatively hard to kill.
They share the island with different types of smaller wildlife like birds, otters, flying squirrels and the likes.
There are forms of larger wildlife like larger lizards and deer. The boars however have been domesticated by the Tortle’s.
The vegetation on the island is lush and the beaches rapidly turn into a thick jungle like forest. There are many fruits and berries. There are some that are delicious, some that make you feel sick, some that kill you and even some that just taste bad for no reason.
The main source of food however comes from the many fish that call the coral reef around the islands their home. Providing the inhabitants with plenty of food.
Demography and Population
The island has 2 settlements:
Poti i Te Kuho
The smaller port settlement of the island, it contains about 150 inhabitants Consisting only of Tortle’s.
The port is a modified beached Kalredian warship. It only really allows for 1 ship to dock on the islands, and even then, the coral reef surrounding the island makes approaching it very difficult.
The Tuakana(leader of the settlement) is an old Tortle Named Kru, an ex-sailor who was done with ships and wished to live out his days on the islands. His position came in a natural way as he had most experience in dealing with manene(Term they use for referring to humanoids not from the island) and could speak outside of Aquan, both Draconic and Common. He started his sailing life as a pirate but eventually ended up sailing for the smugglers who liberated slaves from Kalred. Kru has seen plenty of violence and death and has endured many hardships. This has made him a tough Tortle to deal with, he is kind to the inhabitants of the island, but can be blunt in dealing with manene sailors.
The other Tortle inhabitants of the village are fairly skilled fighters themselves and they do not tolerate anyone bringing harm to the islands and it’s inhabitants. Overall they are kind and peaceful.
The buildings of the settlement have been constructed out of driftwood and vines and other various materials from the jungle forests.
Taone Ahuru
The larger settlement also located on Nui, lies within the western part of the island within the jungle.
A population of counting roughly 700 existing out of 80% tortle and 20% lizardfolk.
A society reliant on the food the jungle provides found a way to organize itself peacefully, currently under ruling of the Kaiarahi(Leader of the island) a female Tortle named Tui. A strong, resilient Tortle who holds a strict rule over the inhabitants of the islands that focuses on survival through strength and care. She holds order within the settlement through harsh punishments and disputes tend to be resolved through 1 on 1 combat if need be.
There is only a minor from of hierarchy present as all inhabitants of the settlement and island are considered equal and everyone is expected to help them survive.
The buildings are made out of Leaves, vines and sticks found in the jungle. Great care was put into weaving some of these buildings.
The Kua Tau: This is the name given to the residents of the settlements on Trible Isles
the Haamana: Most lizardfolk and some of the Tortles choose to live outside of the settlements. They live in harmony, but they prefer a more solitary life and choose to restrict themselves only to small circles. They are usually also more territorial when it comes to dealing with manene.
Territories
Deadly Fog
Around every 2 months a fog lifts over the Eastern Side of the island enveloping Poti i Te Kuho and the only passage way on or off the island entirely for about a week. Nature itself seems to move away from the fog as wildlife that is present on the island avoid the area, the inhabitants of Poti I Te Kuho move to Taone Ahuru for the duration the fog is present. The inhabitants of the island fear it and tell stories of ghostly apparitions and humanoid figures that seem to move within the fog.
The biggest proof of how dangerous the fog is, are the remains of the Kalredian warship they have converted to a dock. The inhabitants of the island don’t know exactly what day it landed, but they had been hearing screams of terror from the fog. And after it had passed, they had found and empty kalerdian warship beached on their island.
Bleu Hole
About 1 mile West of the island one can find a phenomenon the passing sailors refer to as a bleu hole. This seems to be a natural occurring cylindrical shaped are within he ocean that goes much deeper the surrounding area and there for it appears as a large dark bleu circle on the surface of the water.
Neither Tortle nor lizardfolk has attempted to travel down the hole as it appears to go very deep and stories are told that a large, long fish like creature with tentacles inhabits the hole.
The Caves
You can find 2 cave entrances on the island, both on Nui.
The cave entrance are larger chambers, but trying to navigate deep into the cave becomes difficult very quickly as you run into flooded pathways and the passageways become small and narrow.
at certain points within the cave system the cave walls and underground seemed to be covered with a slimy substance.
For this reason the inhabitants of the islands have not bothered exploring the caves much.

Mythology & Lore
Cave Explorer Dom
There are stories of a Tortle named Dom that had explored the caves and told stories that deep within the cave one can find large chambers where the cave ceiling lights up as if it is the night sky and one can see countless stars. He brought back beautifully colored stones and crystals and said in some places the walls are covered in what appears to sunlight.
He managed another few trips down into the caves as he started to explain the slimy substance became more apparent the deeper and more east he travelled. He said the water present in the cave started smelling foul. He had stumbled upon a large cave opening that seemed to lead away from the island itself heavily covered with the slimy substance, his intention to follow it next. He however never seemed to reappear.
