The Kalredian Empire
An Empire Born out of a war with a warrior possesed by Darkness itself.
On the day Pridemane and the obsidian fist took down the vecnetian Tribe, they decided to start a new beginning and founded Qaurtz.
The First Emperor "Pridemane" Ruled with an Iron Fist, had strict rules and delivered hard punishments. Victims of his conquest, Those that opposed him and anyone that was not Orc Or Leonin was thrown into slavery. For he believed only these races could stand against the darkness that treid to taint Tempus' Flame.
This philosophy has carried over the past generations and continues to be a cornerstone of belief for their culture, others exist to elevate them to greatness.
Culture
The Kalredian Empire is a religious empire that follows the writing of their teachings heavily.
These teachings decide your social status, your rights and what freedom's one has.
The Emperor is believed to be chosen by Tempus' and speaks his word. Therefore any changes in law and regulation are believed to be demands from Tempus' himself.
This also includes the rules of succession, The current emperor chooses his successor as he speaks for Tempus'.

Demography and Population
Allthough different races can be found within the empire, only Orc & Leonin are the ones that have freedom.
The rest is forced to serve as a slave.
The population is divided as followed:
Tempus' Chosen
These are Orc & Leonin purebloods, they believe themselves to be chosen warriors of tempus.
Chosen's Offspring
These are Half Orc's and Half Leonin, They are not entirely free, but are not enslaved either. They can hold positions of power to a certain degree.
Heretics
Orcs or Leonin who have committed crime's against The Kalredian Empire are branded heretics, their punishments can vary to a certain degree. But if cuaght will be branded with the mark of bane.
The misguided
The Tabaxi have received a harsh punishment outside of slavery. The Males and Females are held seperate, and the male newborns are systematicelly killed to control their growth population. A female's tabaxi slave's fate depends on their master. Some are treated as prized awards, while others are purely slaves of pleasure. However in the year 311, after the Byurick Breakout, under rule of Krimne Bronzemane an imperial decree was issued where female tabaxi where allowed to join the imperial army to prove their loyalty and fight for their own freedom.
Bane's Servants
All other races are seen as servants & slaves and are forced to work for their Kalredian Masters. The Kalredian believe others exist only to elevate Tempus' Chosen and that they should abide by their will. The slaves treatment can vary drasticly depending on master. In Large work camps their lives can be horribly miserable and there is little regards to a slaves well being. But in the occasional small household or farm, the slaves can be treated with a certain degree of respect and don't have to fear harsh physical punishments for small mistakes.

The Kalredians are a decently advanced society.
Alltho they have no high level of technology, they have figured out how to mix Magic And Technology and have produced several machines of war and motirized vehicles.
Religion
There are 4 important Deities in Kalred
Iris, Goddess of the rivers, water, life, fertility
The Kalredians believe that a Deity named Iris is responsible for the rivers flowing through the empire. She is highly revered goddess and thank her for the gift of life that she brings to the region. When there is a drought within the empire, they believe she is upset and in order to please her, they have to give her a sacrafice of life to pay for all the life she has given them.
Tempus, God of Conquest, war and battle.
"Tempus bless our conquest, for we fight the darkness your sacrafice enslaved. May your blade burn our enemies with it's Righteous flame, and may it burn us should we stray"
The stories of Tempus are older then the empire, but are a unified believe within the region. They believe he was a Leonin warrior blessed by kussoth that lived thousands of years ago and the he fought a darkness that wanted to consume everything in it's wake. Tempus sacrificed himself in the fight and through this sacrafice ascended to godhood himself.
Kussoth, God of fire, volcanoes, Lord of flames
The kalredians both fear and respect this deity, The power of the volcano is ruthless. They thank him for the gift of fire and the possiblities it brings. Many kalredians will take pilgrimages to the Sacred Valley of Kussoth to show their respect and bring the volcano an offer. Unlike Iris, The kalredians believe kussoth is not interested in sacrafices of life and blood, but offerings that would be of use to the monestary that is located within the volcano.
Bane, God of Oppresion, Dominance, Death
The kalredians worship and fear Bane, they believe he was tempus' is brothers in arms, an orcish warrior of unseen power. They believe he was consumed by his anger when he and Tempus fell and became death itself. Bane's teachings declare that it was the other races of the world that had abbandoned them and should now serve the purebloods.
